"Symbol of the Turkic peoples": the film "The Master of the Altai Mountains" was shown in Kazan for the first time

A private premiere screening of the film "Master of the Altai Mountains" was held at the Mir movie theater in Kazan. The film is dedicated to the work of preserving the snow leopard population.
The main character is a leopard named Tural, which scientific staff fix with the help of camera traps. The screening was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Hello everyone, fans of leopards, are we all ready to applaud?
Rais RT addressed the audience gathered in the "Mir" movie theater.
The film aims to raise awareness about the conservation of snow leopards, which number approximately 70 in Russia and 3,500 worldwide.
Prior to the screening, the audience was addressed by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
In Russia, the issues of ecology and the rational use of natural resources are rightly among the significant national priorities. Programs to protect rare species of animals are being implemented, large-scale research, information, educational, and creative projects are being implemented. In this regard, I would like to mention the significant responsible work of the Interregional Association "Irbis Center for the Study and Conservation of the Snow Leopard.

The film "The Master of the Altai Mountains" includes two parallel stories that converge in the finale. The first line immerses the viewer in the world of the snow leopard’s struggle for survival: the predator confronts the danger posed by humans. The second line tells about the daily work of a group of inspectors of Sailyugemsky National Park, who study and preserve snow leopards.
The cinematographer highlighted Tatarstan’s contribution to the conservation of the leopard population. The Republic is completing the construction of a nursery in Altai for rehabilitation and preparation for the release of snow leopards into nature.
For those who created this film, the premiere in Kazan is the main one. Because the white leopard is a symbol of the Turkic peoples. It symbolizes moving forward. Three years of filming in harsh conditions at an altitude of about 3,000 meters are over. The film tells about the fate of the young leopard Tural, now he is alive, prepared for winter, strong and strong.
