Daria Petrova, Director of the Irbis Association, participated in the "Digitalization and modern technologies in the service of monitoring falconiform birds and other animals. Business Support" section at the II International Forum 'Day of the Falcon.' This forum, held in Vladivostok on September 3 as part of the Eastern Economic Forum, focused on falconry conservation. For the second consecutive year, the Irbis Association has been instrumental in facilitating the reintroduction of Altai svarog falcons, a species that has nearly disappeared from Siberia due to illegal hunting.
Within the confines of the Sailugemsky National Park, a specialized facility known as a "hek" has been constructed, wherein young Saker Falcons are raised in a controlled environment before being released into the wild through a process known as "hekilling." This method is designed to facilitate the birds' acclimatization to their natural habitat. Over the past two years, with the personal support of Ali Uzdenov, Chairman of the General Assembly of the Interregional Association "Irbis," a total of 22 Saker falcons have been reintroduced to the wild.
