Altai Republic has signed an agreement with the interregional association "irbis"

This initiative signifies a pivotal endeavor to implement an innovative approach to the study and conservation of the republic’s fauna, encompassing its unique red-listed species such as snow leopards, Siberian ibexes, and argali. The Irbis Association employs advanced methodologies, including artificial intelligence, to study endangered species. As stipulated in the agreement, the Irbis Association has committed to providing assistance to the relevant ministry, equipping it with the necessary equipment and resources. The winter route census of wild animals is scheduled to commence in the near future.

The Interregional Association "Irbis" is poised to deliver comprehensive scientific and methodological support. A multitude of collaborative ecological initiatives, expeditions, and raids are in the offing, with the overarching objective being the preservation of biodiversity in the Altai Republic. The Government of the Altai Republic has expressed its profound gratitude to the founder of the Interregional Association "Irbis" and Chairman of the General Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National Park "Sailugemsky," Ali Mussaevich Uzdenov, for his invaluable cooperation.
