The film "The master of the Altai Mountains" is a prize—winner of the Baikal International Film Festival "Man and Nature" named after V. G. Rasputin

The film produced by the Irbis Association was awarded the Fund of Nature Defenders Prize for Best Nature Protection Movie, as well as the Irkutsk branch of the All-Russian Society for Nature Protection. The concept for the film was developed by Ali Uzdenov, and the Irbis Association has recently initiated the production of a second series.
Concurrently, the Irkutsk region’s town of Zima played host to the screening of the film "Master of the Altai Mountains," directed by Daria Petrova, who is also the director of the Irbis Association.
Following the screening, a meeting was held with the audience, which included numerous children.
The festival prize, a certificate from the Fund of the Association "Irbis" worth 300,000 rubles, was awarded to the Sailugem National Park, whose staff members were portrayed as the protagonists in the film and continue to protect the irbis.
The event was held in a hall designed to accommodate 300 individuals, and the attendees were greeted cordially. Notably, the meeting was attended by schoolchildren who aspire to become biologists and pursue careers in the realm of nature conservation.
