The event convened employees of conservation organizations from Tajikistan, representatives of regional ministries from the Republic of Altai and the Republic of Tatarstan, experts from "Karym" LLC, Sailugem National Park, scientists from the Institute of Problems of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and representatives of business and media. The agenda of the meeting centered on the subject of Russian-Tajik cooperation in the study and conservation of the irbis.
During the summer months, the Center also hosted an international conference that focused on collaborative Russian-Kyrgyz scientific expeditions and internships for specialists. The Snow Leopard Center, situated in the Altai Mountains, was established as part of the national project "Ecology" and aims to engage in research on irbis, cage keeping, and animal breeding.
