"Irbis" Association Donates Equipment to Specially Protected Natural Areas

The Interregional Association "Irbis" has provided essential technical equipment to several specially protected natural areas involved in snow leopard conservation. The assistance included off-road vehicles, camera traps, satellite navigation devices, and field uniforms.
The equipment was distributed among the Sailugemsky National Park (Altai Republic), the Ubsunur Hollow Nature Reserve (Tyva Republic), and the Sayano-Shushensky Nature Reserve (Krasnoyarsk Krai). These protected areas form the backbone of snow leopard conservation in Russia, and the new equipment will significantly enhance the effectiveness of monitoring and anti-poaching efforts.
Regular support for field operations is critical. Modern transport, reliable camera traps, and proper gear for rangers are not luxuries but necessities. We are grateful to our partners who understand this and help strengthen the material and technical base of our protected areas,
commented Denis Malikov.
The donation was made possible with the support of partners and benefactors of the "Irbis" Association.
