Irbis Association Joins the 9th Convocation of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation

Daria Petrova, Director of the Irbis Association, has been elected to the 9th Convocation of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation as a representative of non‑profit organizations (NPOs). Around 250 applications were submitted by all‑Russian public associations and NPOs for participation in the selection process. As a result, 17 new public figures have been included in the new convocation.

The 9th Convocation of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, which will be active from 2026 to 2029, comprises 172 members. Among them:40 members were appointed by presidential decree, 89 were elected by regional civic chambers and 43 more represent all‑Russian associations and non‑profit organizations. The first plenary session of the renewed Civic Chamber will take place on 23 June 2026.
