"Irbis" Association Visits Young Naturalists

The "Irbis" Association team visited a gathering of young naturalists in Moscow to share knowledge about the snow leopard and the work being done to protect it. The children learned about the unique adaptations of this elusive predator, its habitat in the Altai Mountains, and the threats it faces.
Special attention was given to the documentary "Master of the Altai Mountains," which was screened for the young audience. After the film, the children engaged in a lively Q&A session with Daria Petrova, Director of the Association, asking insightful questions about snow leopard behaviour, scientific research, and how ordinary people can help.
It is incredibly inspiring to see such interest and passion among young people. They are our future defenders of nature, and meetings like this help plant the seeds of responsibility and care for the natural world,
commented Daria Petrova.
