"Irbis" Association and Sailugemsky National Park Receive KAMAZ Truck Thanks to Sberbank Grant

A heavy-duty KAMAZ vehicle has been handed over to the Sailugemsky National Park as part of a grant from Sberbank, facilitated by the "Irbis" Association. The truck will be used to deliver supplies, equipment, and personnel to remote areas of the park, significantly improving logistical support for expeditions and anti-poaching patrols.
Access to the remote mountain areas of the Sailugemsky National Park has always been a major challenge. The new KAMAZ will allow us to transport everything needed for long-term field work, from fuel to food, to the most isolated locations. This is a game-changer for our operations,
said Denis Malikov, Director of the national park.
The grant is part of Sberbank’s long-term environmental programme, aimed at supporting biodiversity conservation in Russia.
The "Irbis" Association acted as a key partner in securing and implementing the project.
