"Irbis" Association Supports Sailugemsky National Park with Fleet Renewal

The "Irbis" Association, in cooperation with partners, has provided the Sailugemsky National Park with new off-road vehicles to replace the park’s ageing fleet.
The vehicles will be used for winter expeditions, anti-poaching patrols, and transport of personnel and equipment to remote areas of the park.
Reliable transport in the high mountains is not a luxury but a matter of life and safety. The new vehicles will allow our rangers and scientists to work more efficiently and cover larger territories, especially during the harsh winter months when the need for protection and monitoring is greatest,
noted Denis Malikov, Director of the national park.
The vehicle renewal is part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the material and technical base of protected areas that are critical for snow leopard conservation in Russia.
