"Irbis" Association Signs Cooperation Agreement with the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA)

This agreement lays the foundation for joint work in the field of snow leopard research and protection. A crucial step towards this partnership was the international conference "Study and Conservation of the Snow Leopard Across the World. Uniting Efforts," held in Kazan from 13th to 15th March. This event provided a platform for professional dialogue among experts from around the world.
The conference was also attended by the Director General of the IBCA, Dr. S.P. Yadav, which demonstrated our shared goals and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.

We express our appreciation to our colleagues from the International Big Cat Alliance for their trust and willingness to work together. The "Irbis" Association is confident that this partnership will be fruitful and will make a substantial contribution to global efforts to conserve these majestic big cats for future generations.
The agreement with the IBCA is a logical result of the development and recognition of our efforts by the global conservation community. It opens up new opportunities for implementing large-scale projects, exchanging best practices, and accessing global databases and methodologies. On a practical level, this will enhance snow leopard population monitoring, improve anti-poaching methods, and develop programmes to conserve the fragile ecosystems the snow leopard inhabits.
