"Irbis" Association Partners with "Big Change" Competition Finals at "Artek"

The "Irbis" Association acted as a partner for the finals of the All-Russian "Big Change" competition for 8th-10th grade school students, held at the International Children’s Centre "Artek".
The Association’s Director, Daria Petrova, led sessions for the finalists, informing young people from across the country about how the snow leopard is studied and conserved in Russia. The attendees were also shown the film "Master of the Altai Mountains".

It was particularly heartening to see how the children, despite the geographical and climatic differences of their home regions, listened to stories about the snow leopard with equal interest and engagement, asked questions, and sincerely empathised with the cause of protecting this rare predator.
Attending the lecture "On the Importance of Nature Conservation (using the Altai Mountain ecosystem as an example)" was Zlata Kudirmekova, an 11th-grade student from the Republican Classical Lyceum in the Altai Republic. Zlata listened with pride to the presentation about the unique nature of her homeland and promised to share her new knowledge about the snow leopard and its conservation with her classmates.
Looking into the eager eyes of these young people, you understand that the future of our country is in safe hands. They are absorbing experience and knowledge and are ready to work for the good of the country. When we talk about the snow leopard, we are speaking about much more: about the fragility of our world, the interconnectedness of all living things, and the personal responsibility of every one of us,
shared Daria Petrova.
An awards ceremony for the absolute winners in the "Preserve Nature" track for 8th-10th graders was held at "Artek" on 5th November. Three bright, talented, and immensely passionate finalists received their well-deserved awards from the "Irbis" Association—new iPad 2025 models. We wholeheartedly congratulate these students on their victory and admire the energy, ideas, and genuine love for nature we see in the eyes of dozens of talented children from across Russia.
The "Irbis" Association extends its profound gratitude to "Big Change" for its trust and for our wonderful, long-standing partnership. It is a great honour for us to partner in this grand, important event and to meet with you all at "Artek" again and again.
