The initiative to conserve the rare predator has been joined by MAER, aiming to ensure that as many people as possible learn about the snow leopard and how each of us can help preserve its population. The campaign will span 23 regions of Russia—from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka—with information about the snow leopard appearing on digital screens across the country. Over 4 million Russians will learn about this remarkable animal and the importance of its protection.
Where can the snow leopard be encountered?
- On city streets: the snow leopard will appear on 29 large media facades and 28 digital street screens (DSS) in key locations across Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, and many other cities.
- In public spaces: the campaign will also step "inside." As part of the initiative, an educational "marathon" will take place: a digital quiz dedicated to the snow leopard will be launched in pick-up points, restaurants, and cafés across the country. This is an excellent way to learn about this unique mountain dweller in an interactive format.
