Film 'Master of the Altai Mountains' Captivates Audiences Once More at the 'Wonders of Russia' Festival

The documentary "Master of the Altai Mountains," a unique story about the snow leopard and the nature of Altai, has once again charmed audiences with two special screenings at the Russian Geographical Society’s "Wonders of Russia" festival.
An initial screening and talk about the making of the film was held on 14th July at Zaryadye Park. The screenplay author, producer, and Director of the Interregional Association "Irbis," Daria Petrova, personally presented the project, shared behind-the-scenes stories from the filming process, and answered questions from the audience. The most attentive attendees were treated to pleasant gifts—stickers and children’s books!
A full screening of the film took place on 16th July at the Russian Geographical Society’s Headquarters in Moscow, where Daria Petrova delved into the details of the film’s creation:
  • How was it filmed?
  • What challenges did the team face?
  • Why is it so crucial to preserve Russia’s snow leopards?

The audience left with new knowledge and vivid impressions.
The "Irbis" Association extends its gratitude to Irina Valeryevna Sannikova, a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, a member of the Russian Geographical Society’s Council of Regions, and a member of the "Irbis" Association’s Board of Trustees, for her invaluable assistance in organising the screenings.
